What have you always wanted to do...

Life becomes hectic and unorganized fairly quickly, even on a day that has its plans laid out. Taking care of responsibilities generally overrules the desire to complete items on your wish list. What if you could revisit your goals and make a realistic plan to achieve them?

What is actually realistic and logical for you?

Remember when you were a kid and wanted to be a dancer, the president, a mountain climber, or an astronaut? As you got older it changed to more practical things like a teacher, a parent, a counselor, or an advertising executive. Return to the now and ask are you truly where you wanted to be at this time in your life? If not, then what goals did you leave on the side to make it this far? If you could, would you attempt to revisit them with the goal to achieve them?

Part of our satisfaction in life and mental health is tied up in what type of life experience we have had. Are we fulfilled currently? Or do we wish we would have spent more time on our dreams? Whether they be little or even unrealistically large? If there are goals or dreams you want to revisit, then the best approach may be to get yourself a coach and develop a process on how to reach them. Sometimes it can be as simple as finding a plan. Other times in can be having an accountability partner. If it involves any aspect of your wellness (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, financial, or social) a nurse coach can give you the support, work on a personalized plan with you, and give you the accountability and support you need to succeed.
